The Carmarthen Bay and Estuaries European Marine Site (EMS) is a designated European-level protected area in Wales. This designation is recognition that the area is one of the best in Europe for its exceptional marine and estuarine wildlife and habitats.

It comprises three sites: the Carmarthen Bay and Estuaries Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and two Special Protection Areas (SPAs). The site is crucial for its diverse habitats, including intertidal mudflats and sandflats, estuaries and saltmarsh, and is internationally important for birds and other species.
